What evidence is there that Sayer went to school with Donny Tourette? Sayer is 58 and Tourette is 24! What type of school was this?! carena 22:36, 3 January 2007 (UTC) I'm sure that was just an act of vaandalism, and so have deleted it :) Dannyfrankland 23:03, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

I am not sure if this merits inclusion but, on the live feed of Celebrity Big Brother on E4, Dirk Benedict just made the rather telling comment about Sayer:
'He's so insecure he's the kind of guy who edits his own Wikipedia entry'.
I would like to nominate this comment as one of the best put-downs of the 21st Century.

I clearly remember that "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" was a hit during the spring and early summer of 1977, and not in 1976, as the article claims. At least this was true in the United States. It might have been recorded in 1976, but in the U.S., it was a hit song in the spring and early summer of '77. Slater79 01:00, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] 1967 hotel fire
I've removed the link to the article Bedford Hotel (Brighton), as Sayer worked at the King's Hotel in Hove - confusion has arisen as there were fires at both hotels in the 1960's. The [1] in the new text reproduces text from newspaper articles of the day reporting on events, and Sayer himself appears to have posted a comment to this site correcting the hotel name. As the Bedford Hotel article references this story, I've updated that as well. — samt talk 12:25, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
