Lenny Waronker was a well known record producer for Warner Bros. Records. He produced recording sessions for The Everly Brothers, Van Dyke Parks, The Beau Brummels, Harpers Bizarre, Randy Newman and Gordon Lightfoot to mention a few. Also known as an excellent A&R rep, he was responsible for building much of the Reprise Records roster including Little Feat, the Doobie Brothers, Curtis Mayfield, R.E.M., Rufus Wainwright, Elliott Smith, Nelly Furtado and others. Waronker also ran Warner Bros. Records with Mo Ostin for many years. Ostin and Waronker also ran Dreamworks Records from 1996 until it was sold to Universal Music in 2004.
The son of record executive Simon Waronker, Lenny Waronker married singer Donna Loren. The couple had three children together: son Joey Waronker, daughter Anna Waronker, and daughter Katie Waronker. Lenny and Donna have since divorced. Lenny has remarried and has two daughters, Lily Waronker and Grace Waronker, with current wife Cathy Waronker.
