Lena Hjelm-Wallén

Lena Birgitta Hjelm-Wallen (born January 14, 1943) is a Swedish social democratic politician. She was born in Sala, Sweden. She served as foreign minister from 1994 to 1998 and then became deputy prime minister. In September 2002 she became defence minister but left this position one month later.
