If you want to delete the article go right a head. I don't care. But I think this list is much more useful than other lists like "List of research centers in Iran". Instead of listing numerous unproductive research centers we can list productive ones. All groups here are associated with a link to their list of publications. Who ever has more is the leading. Also "leading groups" does not refer to the one that ranked 1st. One can name several leading groups for a single topic. Such an article (when completed) will clearly show the geography of science production in Iran. (Some think that I need for completing the article I initiated on Science in Iran.) If you said as an expert so it's original research. Try to find some reliable source for this article or If you are an expert first publish this list on a reliable source. Hessam 21:00, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

As I said there is a clear criteria there: list of publications. What else do you want? It is cited. As long as no one could suggest a more prolific team the team will be there. Of course any one working on an area knows the name of leading teams. But no one publish such a thing. This is normally done by science journalists or some non scientists (policy makers). Any ways if you have problem with the word "leading" we can delete it. But of course we can have a list of research groups arranged based on subject. Sangak 22:09, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

Ok. We'll rename the article but in this way from tommorow any anonymous will add his/her small research group to this list and we can't say anything. What should we do with this problem? That's fine! Then the best thing is the list of publication in peer reviewed international journals (mentioned in ISI). This is a must. Any other criteria like "impact factor" etc. would be too complicated to handle. Any other suggestion? Sangak 09:06, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

One may even have a criteria like "acive in last 5 years" meaning that the group published or had a patent during this time. Sangak 09:08, 18 January 2007 (UTC)

I suggest list of publications must be either from "pubmed" or "ISI" or "google scholar". List of publication from "personal webpages" will not be considered. List of posters do not count and list of publications in persian does not count either. Sangak 10:37, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
