Le Tiercent is located at 37 km in the North-East of Rennes and at 35 km in the south of the Mont Saint-Michel.
The communes bordering are Chauvigné, Saint-Marc-le-Blanc, Baillé, Saint-Hilaire-des-Landes, Saint-Ouen-des-Alleux and Saint-Christophe-de-Valains.
