Laura DeGroot (aka "the real Jade Sutherland") is a fictional character in the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. Both Kirsty Sutherland and Laura DeGroot are played by actress Christie Hayes.
Laura was revealed to be the real biological twin sister of Kirsty Phillips.She appeared at various points throughout the 2004 Season of the show and Kirsty even asked Laura to donate a Kidney to her and to do her physics exam for her, after Laura was a science whizz and had taken her physics exams a year early.
