Last Orders is a film based on the Booker Prize-winning novel Last Orders, by Graham Swift. The film was written and directed by Australian Fred Schepisi and released in 2001. It stars Michael Caine, Tom Courtenay, David Hemmings, Bob Hoskins, Helen Mirren, and Ray Winstone. The film was applauded by British critics and audiences.[1]

The story follows three lifelong friends, Vic, Ray and Len, as they take their friend Jack's ashes to Margate to be strewn in the sea. Jack's son Vince is accompanies them. During their journey the film shows see flashbacks of the ups and downs of their intertwined lives.

- The young version of Lenny was played by David Hemming's real-life son, Nolan.
- Kelly Reilly played the young version of Helen Mirren's character Amy. They had acted together in the television episode of Mirren's Prime Suspect series entitled Prime Suspect 4: Inner Circles
- Bob Hoskins and Helen Mirren had previously appeared together in the 1980 film The Long Good Friday.
