I just realized they are the same article, but obviously someone is trying to degrade Taiwanese's legitimacy as a language.--Certified.Gangsta 08:45, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
- It is standard convention to list all variants of the Chinese language as "NAME (linguistics)". Linguists like to call them "languages" while laymen like to call them "dialects". This avoids endorsing one over the other.--Jiang 10:22, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
