Snagov (Romanian: Lacul Snagov) is a lake 25-30 km from Bucharest, Romania. It has a surface of 5.75 km².
The lake is famous due to the myth that Vlad III the Impaler (famous for having inspired Bram Stoker's character Dracula) was buried in the Snagov monastery on an island only accessible by boat in the middle of Lake Snagov. However his body was never found.
