The Lady Gabriella Windsor → Lady Gabriella Windsor – "Lady", in this case, is a coutesy title, and thus, is not preceded with the definite article.

Lord Frederick Windsor, her brother, does not have the definite article. If I'm not mistaken (and if I am please correct me), great-grandchildren of the Sovereign are styled as children of a duke, which means "Lord" and "Lady" and not "The Lord" and "The Lady" which is reserved for substantive titles. I just wanted to make sure that if we changed her title, we would change any others that occur like hers. I am not sure if her cousins, and others are styled The Lord/Lady. Prsgoddess187 12:58, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

She is, indeed, The Lady Gabriella Windsor not merely Lady. Just as her brother is correctly The Lord Frederick Windsor not merely Lord Frederick Windsor. The definite article is correct and is required.

It should also be noted that even the children of a common garden (non royal) Duke, Marquess or Earl are properly styled as The Lord HisName X and The Lady HerName X. If the definite article were not required the courtesy title would not include their name - at all.

When Diana married The Prince of Wales she was The Lady Diana Spencer just as her sisters remain The Lady Jane Fellows and The Lady Sarah M.

The Lord/The Lady are not reserved for substantive titles only.

This recently added little paragraph represents in part the views of a certain magazine. I believe that it has no place in Wikipedia as someone else with similar "authority" might have a different opinion on Lady Gabriella Windsor. Wikipedia, as an encyclopedia, is about facts and not opinions. Q43 10:35, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Someone removed my statement above three times now instead of commenting on it and also included silly insults in the "Edit summary". Could this person read all of her articles that appear in her webpage? This person will see that she doesn't mind mentioning her royal linage on occasion, while the article says otherwise. Also, is it appropriate to copy material from other publications into Wikipedia? Q43 (talk) 04:26, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Her father is a first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. This means that Gabriella Windsor is a second cousin of the Queen's children. With the Queen they are first cousins once removed or more specifically, the Queen is her second aunt. One is a (first) uncle/aunt to their siblings (zeroth cousins) children, second uncle/aunt (first cousin once removed) to their cousins children, third uncle/aunt (second cousin once removed) to their second cousins children and so on. But, I'll admit that these terms are as rarely used in the English language as the terms with the "removed" suffix! Q43 (talk) 03:49, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Actually, the problem of this article is that a full one half of it refers to her ancestry and her famous relatives. That is, there is very little information on her achievements in life. Q43 (talk) 16:57, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
