La Rambla (climb)

La Rambla (otherwise known as La Rambla original or La Rambla extension) is a famously difficult sport climb in Siurana, Spain. It's located at the sector of El Pati. The first ascent was by Ramón Julián Puigblanque (Ramonet) in 2003, after forty or fifty tries.
La Rambla was originally a route climbed by Alexander Huber in 1993 which ended to a lower chain of La Rambla Original(also known as La Rambla extension). Huber's part of the route was graded 8c+/5.14c.[1] Ramón Julián Puigblanque climbed it to the chain and gave it a 9a+/5.15a grade.
The repeat ascents were by:
- Edu Marín Garcia on 2006
- Chris Sharma on 2006 - a day after Edu Marín
- Andreas Bindhammer on 2007
- Patxi Usobiaga on 2007 - after nine tries
- Adam Ondra on 2008 - after five tries
