KTIE essentially airs a similar program schedule as sister station KRLA; both are owned by Salem Communications. There are several key differences:
- All the news and traffic information is specific to the Inland Empire area.
- Michael Savage is carried from 6pm to 8pm, KRLA carries The Dennis Miller Show from 6pm-9pm.
- KTIE carries Sean Hannity from 9pm to 10pm, followed by China Radio International's newscast at 10 pm.

The station carries select games of the basketball program of California State University, San Bernardino. It also airs the live broadcast of weekly auto races at Irwindale Speedway, sanctioned by NASCAR as part of the Whelen All-American Series.

In the early 1990s, this station's call letters were KRSO and it was the local affiliate for the Los Angeles Rams pro football team. Its format, adult standards, was identical to KMPC (now KSPN).
