Kronberg Academy was founded in 1993 at Kronberg im Taunus
Since 2000 there is a fourannual Cello-Competition (International Pablo Casals Cello Competition) "In memoriam Pablo Casals".
On 25. 10. 2007 started a three-year "Kronberg Academy Master (M. Mus)" education - worldwide new. Together with the University of the near Frankfurt am Main at maximum twelfe young solo-instrumentalists (Violine, Viola, Violoncello) can participate. Director: Stephen Potts (before long Yehudi Menuhin-School, London).
