[edit] hlemmur

hi. i was going to post something here earlier, but i got distracted by other, more pressing matters. i moved hlemmur into the singles/ep chronology where it belongs. it's a soundtrack and can't really be considered as a studio album. (see here for example). that (and the fact that was recorded in 2002) is also why i removed the reference to 'fifth studio album' from the article. --L!nus 21:32, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

You can't consider an album an EP, even if it's not a regular record. And even there they say it's an "other work". My suggestion is to put a "Soundtrack:..." link - before the link "Films: Sigur Rós - Heima", in the same line, so we don't spoil the whole shape of a template;-) --Kochas 00:31, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
or one could add a line after "films", titled "other" and including the other items mentioned in the Sigur Rós discography under that heading. --L!nus 16:40, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Template:Sigur Rós

i notice you have moved hlemmur as discussed above, that's fine. but i also see you have changed the glósóli/sæglópur 2005 release into just glósóli. actually both songs were released at the same time in different parts of the world: glósóli in europe and sæglópur in the us. i have just corrected all the singles/ep chronologies to take that into account. i hope you do not object if i revert your edit in that respect. --L!nus 13:56, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

I think we rather don't repeat links in the template - nor use any "(EU)" or "(US)" abbreviations, simply to put everything clean. The details are mentioned in the articles themselves. --Kochas 14:47, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
dang, i was reverting it while you wrote that, sorry bout that. there must be comparable situations with other bands, let's see how it is done there.
i also included englar alheimsins btw. --L!nus 14:56, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Labeling non-minor edits as minor

Please remember to mark your edits such as your recent edits to Nine Inch Nails[1], as minor if (and only if) they genuinely are minor edits (see Help:Minor edit). Marking a major change as a minor one is considered poor etiquette. The rule of thumb is that only an edit that consists solely of spelling corrections, formatting changes, or rearranging of text without modifying content should be flagged as a 'minor edit.' [edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Sexandthecity movie poster.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Sexandthecity movie poster.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 09:30, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
