Kirron Kher (Born June 14) is an Indian actress and TV host in Bollywood from Chandigarh, India. She has lately changed her name from "Kiron" to "Kirron" due to beliefs in numerology.

Kirron Kher hosted three television shows called Purushkshetra, Kiron Kher Today and Jagte Raho with Kiron Kher, before doing Bollywood films. For her role in Devdas alongside Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai, she was nominated for the Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award. Kirron Kher is a very talented actress.
She made her film debut in 1983 in the Punjabi film Aasra Pyar Da and received rave reviews for her magnificent performance.
Despite retiring from acting for eight years (1988 - 1996) in order to raise her son Sikander Kher she worked for her husband Anupam Kher as a costume designer and suggested the title for his movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995).
At the Locarno International Film Festival 2003 she received the Bronze Leopard for her role in Khamosh Pani: Silent Waters. In October 2004 she had a guest appearance along with her husband in the American TV series ER playing Parminder Nagra's mother.
Despite playing mostly supporting roles, her list of successful movies includes Devdas (2002), Main Hoon Na (2004), Hum Tum (2004) and Veer-Zaara (2004). Her work in Rang De Basanti (2006) was a huge hit and her performance was praised. Her role in Fanaa (2006) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006) were also praised.

Her first marriage was with actor and businessman Gautam Berry, whom she divorced in 1985. She then married actor Anupam Kher and has one son, Sikander Kher.
