Ultima Online: Kingdom Reborn is a new 2007 graphics client for the 1997 MMORPG Ultima Online. Kingdom Reborn is not considered an expansion pack and can be downloaded for free. The Stygian Abyss expansion, which is schedule for release a few months after the completion of Kingdom Reborn, will require the Kingdom Reborn client in order to visit the new Stygian Abyss dungeon.
A series of clues provided by developers via an in-game event arc has allowed players to find a URL on the Ultima Online website wherein a simple message is contained as well as a Flash movie featuring screenshots of the upgraded graphics.
As well as upgraded graphics there is a newer, more streamlined interface. Some of the changes include hot keys, a scrolling bag configuration and a new character sheet.
