Kaveri(Kalyani) is an actress who was adjudged Best Actress for her performance in "Avunu Vaalidaru Ishtapadaru" in the Andhra Pradesh State awards for 2002.

After Kaveri acted in the movie 'Pedha Babu' directed by Suryakiran they both started loving each other. And after the permission & acceptance from both the families the got married on the 1st of may 2007. The director Suryakiran is the elder brother of actress Sujitha. Both Kaveri and Suryakiran belong to the same Nair community.
