Kauko 'Kake' Nieminen (born 29 August 1979 Seinäjoki) is a Finnish Speedway racer with the Workington Comets in the UK, Solkatterna in Sweden and the Finnish national Speedway team[1].

Kauko started his UK career with the Comets in 2002 and has been with them every season since except for for 2006 when he rode for the Glasgow Tigers. Also in 2006 he represented Finland in the 2006 Speedway World Cup.
Kauko is known by both Workington and Glasgow fans as 'The Flyin Finn' because of his racing style, which produces some great high speed passing. For the 2007 season, Kauko returned to the Workington Comets, this time as captain,[2] and also rode for Solkatterna in Sweden and TŻ Lublin in Poland. At the end of the season it was announced he would return the the Comets in 2008.[3]
