Kéniéba

Kéniéba is a city and Commune, the seat of Kenieba Cercle, in Mali's Kayes Region. It has a population of around 25,000 inhabitants.
The surrounding Cercle includes the communes of Baye, Dabia, Diafalara, Dombia, Faléa, Faraba, Guenegore, Kassama, Kéniéba, Kouroukoto, Sagalo and Sitakili, for a total of approximately 145,000 people.
Kéniéba is located in the gold-rich region of Bambouk.
