[edit] About Me
I was born and raised in Indiana, went to school in Pittsburgh, and then moved to work in Silicon Valley, California. I also lived for a while in Sweden and Denmark, doing an interdisciplinary masters program called Innovation Systems, Social and Ecological Change.
Here's an approximate distribution of where I've lived in my adult life (after age 16):
- 14% Midwest
- 23% Mid-Atlantic
- 4% Texas
- 49% San Francisco Bay Area
- 11% Scandinavia
My personality type is INTJ: "Have original minds and great drive for their own ideas and purposes. Have long-range vision and quickly find meaningful patterns in external events. In fields that appeal to them, they have a fine power to organize a job and carry through. Skeptical, critical, independent, determined, have high standards of competence and performance."
Here are some of my favorite books. And here's a little something I wrote a while ago, called Being Human.
I've visited these states and these countries.
My list of addictions: coffee, Bolo, SimCity 4, Civilization III.
