Joy Whitlock (Born August 13, 1980) is a Christian musician and songwriter who has recently appeared in the Contemporary Christian market. Her songs primarily consist of a Folk/Indie blend. She has recorded and released one EP to date, entitled The Fake EP, on Ardent Records in Memphis. She is currently mixing her soon to be released full length premiere.
Joy grew up in several different areas of Mississippi and spent a few years in Illinois as well. She moved to Memphis at the age of 17, and now considers it her home. Joy cites a trip to Nashville to see the Lilith Fair tour as her inspiration to learn to play music.
