Hmmm, maybe the sentence "Many credit him for discovering and molding his children's talents, helping to make the entire family something of an institution." could be rewritten into "Many discredit him for disturbingly exploiting his children's talents, helping to make the entire family belong in something of an institution." 85.226.122.227 01:50, 11 December 2005 (UTC)

I propose moving this page to a more specific page such as his full name, Joseph Walter Jackson, and making this a disambiguation page. Joseph Jackson is very common name and this page will be better used if it refers to all the other gentlemen named Joseph Jackson as well.
