Jordanstown

Jordanstown is a suburb of Belfast located within the borough of Newtownabbey, County Antrim, Northern Ireland, between the areas of Whiteabbey and Monkstown. It is the site of the largest campus of the University of Ulster. It is also home to two special schools, The Jordanstown Deaf and Blind School and Rostulla.

Jordanstown was a semi rural district until the 1950's when it expanded rapidly with the construction of new housing. Middle class families were attracted to the area due to its location adjacent to Belfast Lough and the railway station, which provides excellent access to Belfast city centre. The area boasts a university campus, a bowling club, 3 schools and a shop without a sign.
