The Joralemon Street Tunnel carries the 4 and 5 trains of the IRT Lexington Avenue Line of the New York City Subway under the East River between Bowling Green, Manhattan, New York and Joralemon Street, Brooklyn, New York. It was the first underground subway tunnel connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn.[2]
