[edit] Chris Hero

I have written responses to your queries on Talk:Chris Hero. Responses and expansion would be appreciated. --- Lid 02:14, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

Another response up. --- Lid 02:20, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
Still no idea what the Rubix Cube is? –– Lid(Talk) 09:04, 8 September 2006 (UTC)
Actually I have a friend who saw a match with the name used but they don't want to rewatch the match because it was terrible so they won't tell me what it is. –– Lid(Talk) 07:43, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Normal piledriver or reverse piledriver? Also are you sure it's a piledriver because from that position wouldn't it be hard to stop the opponent fro overflipping into a Michinok driver II? –– Lid(Talk) 02:34, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Now that I know it's the move in the picture, isn't it this move of Nick Mondo's:

[edit] a little help

Hey dude good work on the your CZW/ROH articles they came out real well... i was wondering if you could help me with the Special K (professional wrestling).. you seem to know alot more about it than me so do you think you could fashion some sort of history of the stable cus at the moment there isnt even a metion of how the group got together or how they split. [edit] Kings of Wrestling

Yeah sorry about that, you're right. I finally got to see a video of the move and prior to that thought by the description it was a double team Rubix Cube. –– Lid(Talk) 02:32, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Tgimmick.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Tgimmick.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Chowbok 03:44, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Hmm, yeah, he released that other one into the public domain. Go ahead and drop him a note and see if he'll do it with this one too. If so, then it's no problem and we can keep it in. —Chowbok 06:04, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
I think that's fine, although maybe some admins would disagree. I'd go ahead and remove the RFU tags and the promophoto tag, and paste in his e-mail to you (with the addresses removed), and add the {{Attribution}} tag. —Chowbok 16:54, 14 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Trentacid1.jpg

Same thing with this one. I'm marking it replaceable fair-use, but if he's willing to release this one too, go ahead and change it. You might want to just clear everything you've gotten from him at once so you don't have to keep bugging him. —Chowbok 21:29, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: H8 Club

Sure, no problem.

The H8 Club is considered by many to be the most dominant tag team in CZW history. - not neutral POV

He and Gage slammed Messiah from the top of the cage through a table covered in thumbtacks and the H8 Club was reformed. - This is a detail of the match that's not necessary. There were tens of other bumps in that match; what makes this one notable enough to be mentioned? The main point - that Hatred & Gage reunited - remains in the article.

When he returned, he found Gage and Hatred still in control of the tag division. More importantly, they were still calling themselves the H8 Club. - This isn't really necessary; wouldn't it be more to the point if you just say Pain returned to CZW and joined Wifebeater, like it says?

Then there was the recap of the Cage of Death VI match. It's not NPOV to say "The fans were shocked as Gage worked with Pain to doubleteam Hatred and allow Pain to cover Hatred for the win."

In mid-2006, Nick Gage left many wondering with his strange behavior, which included fights with Zandig and Pain. At CZW's Last Team Standing, a tournament was held to determine new tag team champions. The H8 Club made it to the final round, but for an unexplained reason, Nick Gage left the building before the final match, and Justice Pain lost a chance to regain the tag team titles. - I guess a point could be made that this is notable enough to be included but personally I think it just falls into Wikipedia not being an indiscriminate collection of information. Hope that clarifies where I'm coming from. Just was trying to clean up some of the CZW bios. ThanksBooyakaDell 23:11, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

"He was determined to show them that he could wrestle. Pain, who had gained some weight during his career, got back in shape and defeated Joker in a wrestling match at An Afternoon of Main Events in January."

Well, this is opinion. Where's the proof that he gained weight during his career. CAN he wrestle? That's an opinion. How do we know he got back in shape? What makes his match with Joker "a wrestling match" and his other matches "Deathmatches." The match with Joker used steel chairs if I recall correctly. That's why I took that part out. Does that make sense?BooyakaDell 23:38, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] LAX

If it hasn't been announced on TV or tnawrestling.com, then it's not official. So LAX are not champs, they may not have returned the belts but that doesn't make them the champs. TJ Spyke 21:59, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

It says they are wrestling Angle and Williams, not defending the belts. TJ Spyke 00:01, 26 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Nate Hatred

Nate Hatred has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt this person might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:Notability (people) for the relevant guidelines. If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.

If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" template, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod template, the article will not be deleted, but if an editor is still not satisfied that it meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Survey Invitation

Hi there, I am a research student from the National University of Singapore and I wish to invite you to do an online survey about Wikipedia. To compensate you for your time, I am offering a reward of USD$10, either to you or as a donation to the Wikimedia Foundation. For more information, please go to the research home page. [edit] Deranged (wrestler)

An editor has added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Deranged (wrestler), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but it is believed not to satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has been explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. [edit] Notability

See WP:BIO. The Icarus article has only existed for three months, therefore asking for sources that might demonstrate notability isn't unreasonable. One Night In Hackney303 21:42, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

You incorrectly assume I consider any minor league wrestler notable. One Night In Hackney303 22:03, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
How do you eat an elephant? One slice at a time. As much as articles like Jeff Velocci need deleting until he gets out of OVW, nominating 200 articles on the same day wouldn't be looked upon favourably. What doesn't get nominated this week will get done next week, and so on. One Night In Hackney303 22:44, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
