Jonathan Hardy

Jonathan Hardy is a New Zealand-born actor, writer and director. His film work includes The Devil's Playground, Mad Max, Mr. Reliable and Moulin Rouge!. Hardy wrote the screenplay for the film Breaker Morant for which he received an Australian Film Institute award and was nominated for an Academy Award. In 1986 Hardy directed and wrote the flop movie Backstage starring Laura Branigan. He is probably best known to international audiences, however, for providing the voice of Dominar Rygel XVI in the science fiction series Farscape. Has also been a valuable member of the Coolshite panel on the "Coolshite on the Tube" podcast.
