Jon Rheault

Jon Rheault, born August 1, 1986 in Deering, New Hampshire, is an American collegiate ice hockey player.

Before College: Played for the New Hampshire Junior Monarchs of the EJHL in 2003–04. Led the EJHL in scoring with 95 points (49 goals, 46 assists). Recorded 12 power-play goals and nine game-winning goals. Named EJHL Rookie of the Year and earned league MVP honors. Selected to play in the EJHL All-Star game. Led the Junior Monarchs to the 2003–04 EJHL Championship.

College: Currently attends Providence College in Providence, RI. Was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 5th round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, 145th overall. During his freshman year at Providence, led the team's freshmen in both goals and points. Earned Hockey East Rookie of the Week honors twice as a freshman (1/3, 2/28), and was named Providence's Most Valuable Freshman. As a sophomore, finished third on the Friars in scoring with 30 points, including a team high 16 goals. Led the team in power play goals (8), including seven in Hockey East play - third best in the league. Added a seven game point streak, as well as seven multiple point games. Was named a co-winner of Providence College's prestigious Lou Lamoriello award, given annually to the team MVP.

Personal: Is a management major at Providence. Teammate of Colin McDonald at Providence. He is the son of Jon and Terese Rheault. He has three sisters: Aly(20), Leah(13) and Jenna(11) Rheault.
