Johnlp has been coming to these pages, fairly regularly, though not prolifically, since July 2005 and has now created a few stub articles, mostly cricket biographies, mainly derived from a lifetime of watching cricket and an 80-year collection of Wisden, which is well thumbed.

Likes people who want to make an encyclopedia out of the random jottings of people like me.
Dislikes people who wish to control, steer or otherwise make our random jottings conform to their own views or ideas about notability, rather than a generic view that all information is useful.
Gets fed up that not enough people are creating content and that too many people are whittling away at the content there is without adding value.
