John Thierry (born September 9, 1971 in Houston, Texas) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Chicago Bears in the 1st round (11th overall pick) of the 1994 NFL Draft. A 6' 4", 263 lb defensive end from Alcorn State University, Thierry played in 9 NFL seasons from 1994-2002. His best pro years may have been as a member of the Chicago Bears.
Was selected 2nd in the 1999 Cleveland Browns expansion draft, following Jim Pyne. Finished his career with the Atlanta Falcons after recurring shoulder injuries[1]
