John Cahill Medal

The John Cahill Medal is a best and fairest award in the sport of Australian rules football, in the AFL.
It is awarded to the player who receives the most votes during an AFL season from the Port Adelaide Football Club. It is named after Port Adelaide legend John Cahill, who coached the club in the AFL, and coached and played with them in the SANFL. It has been awarded since Port Adelaide's entry into the AFL in 1997.
