"Bulletproof" Bola made his debut in the league for Dublin in 2007 during the opening game against Kilkenny.[1] The game finished on a draw with a final scoreline of 2-13 to 0-19.[2] Boland won the Leinster Minor Hurling Championship with Dublin in 2005.[3] Joey will make his championship debut for Dublin against Wexford in the 2007 championship. His younger brother barry is tipped to be the next big thing for dublin. Joey has also admitted that he gets his inspiratin and hurling skill from Na fianna player and neighbour Robert "the hip" Nolan. .id=8411&mainheading=Word+on+The+Hill&viewstory=yes. Joey scored his first point championship against Cork in the first game in the 2007 qualifiers. Dublin lost the game by 0-15 to 3-20.[4] He won the Leinster Under-21 Hurling Championship with Dublin agaainst Offaly in July 2007. It was Dublins first Under-21 trophy since 1972.[5] Joey is part of a new era of Dublin hurlers, as well known for their off pitch antics as performances on it. Boland has been pictured with many of Dublins current glamour models and "it" girls, including Glenda Gilson and Amanda Brunker, with whom he was recently seen leaving Lillie's Bordello before stumbling into a taxi. On September 12th, 2007, it was reported in The Irish Times newspaper that Eamon Dunphy has begun the writing of Joey's autobiography, with a title to be yet decided upon. It is scheduled for release in early May of 2008, to coincide with the beginning of the Leinster Hurling Championship.ojojojopjό.Joey is also mad steel and doyler is a rat....Joey is the founder and owner of "The Joey Question And Answer Phoneline" enabling him to assist students worldwide.He gains information to run this phoneline by ringing up various members of his college class and recording these phonecalls and then taking notes on them.He likes to plan for and have "the craic".He has a marvellous study buddy who sometimes "has the craic" with him, when she isnt busy contributing to her secret stash of notes....
