User talk:Jmcrownpoint

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I would like to contribute to what I know about and enjoy - traditional hot rods and Southern California hot rod culture. Maybe contemporary definitions and positive contributions are NOT what wikipedia is about? PT Cruiser links and no Hot Rod Surf under Hot Rods? It is academically wrong and plain lame.(Jmcrownpoint 11:09, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

Wikirat

wikirat is a wikipedia user who deletes links and files without adding to the discussion of the articles or links selected to deletion. A common technique of the wkikrat is to report a legitimate article and then when the responses or comments come in claim sock puppets. Wikirats are not concerned with helping evolve a real counter-culture dictionary and open environment where everyone contributes. The Wikirat is preoccupied with the ratting and deleting combination and technical conflicts rather that the importance of information conveyed in wikipedia. Wikirats are a negative force in Wikipedia. Like a common house rat Wikirats scurry around Wikipedia steeling and spreading the disease of technicality in stead of Reality.(Jmcrownpoint 6:04, 20 August 2006 (UTC)

  • Right, I protest ANY sort of unblocking for this user. This user CONTINUES to make personal attacks by calling myself a wikirat in blatant violation of Wikipedia policy, after being warned NOT to do so. --Signed and Sealed, JJJJust (T C) 03:51, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

Contribution

“Wikirat” is no different of a term than "Infogmation" they are just presented differently. One is using a "user name" to convey a type of definition rather than an article. It seems as if the user "infrogmation" wants to expose acts of obscuring sources though altering original documents. ‘Wkirat’ is not meant to be derogatory but rather describe a situation which is part of Wkikipedia. Here is a ‘cleaned up’ definition of Wikirat for others enjoy and use when appropriate.

Wikirat

wikirat is a wikipedia user who deletes links and text without adding to the discussion page of the articles or links selected for deletion or earmarks. A common technique is to report a new article with technical earmarks such as “unverifiable” and then when the sources or comments are posted for “verification” a claim ‘sock puppets’ is filed followed by a “Bock-User” earmarking. A Wikirat is preoccupied with the ratting and deleting combination and technical conflicts rather that the actual content of the information of an article for wikipedia.(Jmcrownpoint 11:09, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

HOW IT IS POSSIBLE?!!!!!

How is it possible?! that an external link section from the Hot Rod article page has been deleted for the official “free” Hot Rod Surf website while a commercial PT cruiser link exists! Who supports this?? Why not discuss it in the discussion page. Keep all of the links- don’t delete any of them. Add do not subtract from wikipedia.(Jmcrownpoint 11:20, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
