Jewel and Esk Valley College

Jewel and Esk Valley College is a further education college in the Lothians in Scotland. It has two campuses, located at Milton Road in Brunstane, Edinburgh and the Eskbank Centre in Dalkeith, Midlothian.

It currently caters for 7,000 students on a full/part time and Open learning basis, along with a specialist facility for blind individuals that is located on the Milton Road campus.
In 2006/2007 Jewel & Esk Valley College had 6500 students accounting for 7550 enrolments.
[edit] Halls of Residence
It also has a halls of residence at the Milton Road Campus, with 240 bedrooms. Jewel and Esk Valley Halls of Residence also provides accommodation for those studying at Edinburgh's Telford College and Stevenson College, located in the Sighthill district of Edinburgh.
Additionally, it has adapted bedrooms for the blind individuals who study at the specialist centre.

Jewel and Esk Valley College was created in 1984 from the merger of Leith Nautical College and the Eskbank College.

E:volve delivers new state of the art campuses at Milton Road in Edinburgh and Eskbank in Midlothian. We will continue to deliver for both communities, our ethos will remain One College - Two Campuses.
The buildings and facilities at both locations will be innovative and purpose built to deliver modern educational qualifications and skills.
At £54m, e:volve will be the largest education project of this size and scale in Scotland. Through funding from the SFC and through realising the value of our own assets, we will have in place the finance to deliver the project by 2008. We look forward to opening the doors of our new college and welcoming new students across the threshold, ready to equip themselves with new skills and qualifications for 21st Century Scotland.
The new buildings have been designed to provide accessible, welcoming and flexible accommodation. Natural light will flow through many of the spaces, highlighting the dynamic nature of the buildings and showcase key areas of the College.
[edit] Eskbank, Dalkeith
Currently, the Eskbank campus caters for all students for the year 07/08 due to the renovations of the Milton Road campus.
