Jersey Sky Blue is a professional American women’s soccer team, founded in 2006, which is a member of the United Soccer Leagues W-League, the premier women’s soccer league in the United States. The Sky Blue play in the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference.
The team play their home games at Ranger Stadium on the campus of Drew University in the town of Madison, New Jersey. The club's colors are sky blue, dark blue, black and white.
The Sky Blues are part of the larger Sky Blue Soccer organization, based in Bedminster, New Jersey, an integrated program that allows players to progress in soccer from a young age with an opportunity for long-term growth. The club will serve as a feeder program for the New Jersey franchise of the newly formed Women's Professional Soccer, which is planning to begin play in April 2009. The WPS team will play at Yurcak Field on the campus of Rutgers Universiry. [1]
