Jeffrey Howlett

Jeffrey Howlett (1928 - 20 December 2005) was an Australian architect. He was a founding partner of Howlett and Bailey Architects, which designed a number of Australian landmarks such as Council House (a high modernist skyscraper set in the Stirling Gardens which has since been restored), and the Perth Concert Hall.
He was honoured in the year of his death by the Government of Western Australia as a State Living Treasure for his contribution to culture and the arts and is the first architect to receive such recognition.
