Jeannie Berlin

Jeannie Berlin (born November 1, 1949) is an Oscar-nominated American actress.
Berlin was born in Los Angeles, California to screenwriter/playwright Elaine May. May directed her daughter in the 1972 film The Heartbreak Kid, which garnered Berlin Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations. She made her Broadway theatre debut in May's play After the Night and the Music in 2005.
Berlin's additional screen credits include Getting Straight, The Strawberry Statement, Portnoy's Complaint, Sheila Levine Is Dead and Living in New York, and Margaret.
