James Clement (born March 9, 1977) is a television personality from the reality television series Survivor. He appeared in back-to-back seasons of Survivor in Survivor: China in 2007 and Survivor: Micronesia in 2008.

[edit] Survivor: China
In 2007, James was selected as a castaway on the fifteenth season of Survivor, which took place in China. Originally a member of the Fei Long tribe, James found himself on the Zhan Hu tribe after a tribal shake-up.
James made it through the merge in episode 7 and became a member of the merged tribe named Hae Da Fung. On day 30, after losing immunity, James was voted off by a vote of 5-1-1, despite having two hidden immunity idols that he did not play. James became the fourth member of the jury. James was an imposing physical threat on Survivor, but as a result of his elimination was referred to as "the dumbest Survivor ever."[1]
During the reunion show, James was awarded a $100,000 prize as the most popular player in Survivor: China, beating fellow favorites Denise Martin and Peih-Gee Law.
[edit] Survivor: Micronesia
On January 3, 2008, James was announced to be among the "favorites" in Survivor: Micronesia, which pitted ten "fans" of the show versus ten "favorites" from past seasons of Survivor. This was the sixteenth season of Survivor and began airing on February 7, 2008. James, and the rest of the favorites began there time in Micronesia on the Malakal tribe.[2] In episode 5, a tribal switch was announced and the tribes were divided by schoolyard pick. James was chosen for the Airai tribe.
In episode 9, the tribes merged to form a new tribe called Dabu on day 22. James lasted until day 31, when he was removed from the game during the twelfth episode. The Survivor medics stated that he had no choice but to be evacuated from the game due to the risk of the infection in his finger spreading to his joint. James is the only survivor to play twice and end up in the same finish (7th). James is also the first player to have been medically removed from the game after the jury had been formed and was still given a spot on the jury.
On the reunion show, it was revealed that James once again was the viewer's choice in winning $100,000. Amanda Kimmel and Ozzy Lusth received the next highest amount of votes.

James currently resides in Lafayette, Louisiana, with his pit bull, Brently. He owns and operates a burial service with his father, James Clement III, and works as a gravedigger. In addition, he works security at nightclubs and weddings and does bartending on the side.
In the November 12, 2007, issue of People magazine, James was featured as the "Sexy Man of the Week".[3]
