Richard L. "Jake" Siewert, Jr. (born February 1, 1964) served as White House Press Secretary from September 30, 2000, to January 20, 2001, during the administration of U.S. President Bill Clinton. Jake is married to Christine Anderson, Communications Director for former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. Ms. Anderson is also a former Press Secretary to Governor Spitzer and worked in the Clinton White House.
Born in New York City, Siewert is a 1986 graduate of Yale University.
Since leaving the Clinton Administration, Siewert has been Vice President for Environment, Health & Safety and Public Strategy at Alcoa.
