Jack Flemming

Jack Flemming (1923 - January 3, 2001) was the broadcast voice of the Pittsburgh Steelers as well as the West Virginia Mountaineers football teams, as well as West Virginia University's basketball team.
Flemming is best known for calling the "Immaculate Reception" play, as well as the Steelers' first four Super Bowl wins. Flemming called the Steelers' action along with the legendary Myron Cope until he retired in 1993, at which time, current play-by-play man Bill Hillgrove took over.
Flemming died in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the age of 77 on January 3, 2001.

"Hang onto your hats, here come the Steelers out of the huddle. Twenty-two seconds remaining. It's down to one big play, fourth down and 10 yards to go. Terry Bradshaw at the controls. And Bradshaw....running out of the pocket, looking for somebody to throw to, fires it downfield, and there's a collision! And it's caught out of the air! The ball is pulled in by Franco Harris! Harris is going for a touchdown for Pittsburgh! I don't even know where he came from!"
