I only created this because it was on the "requested for two years" list. He didn't seem that important to me so I'd be fine with him being gone.--T. Anthony 01:07, 14 October 2005 (UTC)

If we delete this article now, the upcoming release of his two new books will probably warrant recreation of the article. As it is now, I would say that JGH is roughly as notable as, say, Joseph Salerno, although he's not been around the Austrian economics scene for quite as long. Given what some of the people that I work with at the Mises Institute are saying about his new manuscripts (which are being paginated, etc. right now), I would bet that his notability will greatly increase. The biography of Ludwig von Mises in particular should have this effect, since it is supposed to be the most comprehensive, authoritative biography of Mises to date. Now, I recognize that I am effectively arguing from original research here, so take that into account. Dick Clark 20:04, 13 August 2006 (UTC)
