The single debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 100 and peaked at number 83. The track was number 85 on Rolling Stone's 100 Best Songs of 2007.[1] The music video was directed by Benny Boom.[2]
A remix was also released which features Lil Wayne, Jadakiss and R. Kelly, re-using the beat from "Get Me Bodied" by Beyoncé (produced by Swizz Beatz himself) and sampling "C.R.E.A.M." by Wu-Tang Clan.
An edited version of the song was featured on the Madden 2008 soundtrack
[edit] Background
"It's Me Bitches" was created by Swizz Beatz while having fun and felt to make a song. He recalled: "I did the beat because I felt like making the beat."[3]
