can ionomycin be nebulized?
I removed the sentence about CD28- T-cells producing IL-2, IL-4 etc. I felt the wording suggested that only these cells are capable of producing IL-2, IL-4 etc. I don't think that's the case, but I'm not quite sure how to phrase how researchers actually use PMA and ionomycin in such cases. Maybe something like "Ionomycin may be added to leukocytes, sometimes in combination with PMA, to elicit the production of certain cytokines important in the inflammatory response, such as IL-2, IL-4 etc." 163.1.181.208 (talk) 00:12, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
