Internet Research Steering Group

The Internet Research Steering Group (IRSG) manages and advises the Internet Research Task Force (IRTF) and so steers the long-term technological development of the Internet. Members of the IRSG are the chair of the IRTF, the leaders of the different research groups of the IRTF, as well as further persons from the appropriate research areas.
The task of the IRSG is it to create good conditions for the research.
Apart from the advisory activity, the IRSG from time to time arranges workshops with experts from the research areas being worked on.
