[edit] History
InsideSales.com claims to be the first web-based sales tracking customer relationship management (CRM) system with built in dialers and telephony ‘power-tools’ in the market.[2] InsideSales.com is the primary product of Sales Team Automation, LLC (STA) a web development company in Provo, Utah owned by David Elkington.
STA was contracted to build a sales force automation solution for use in 2003. The product was finished in early 2004 and rolled out as SalesTeamAutomation.com.
Ken Krogue was a founder of a call center technology company and chose to join with Dave Elkington in late 2004 to be the first company to fully integrate dialers and nearly two dozen telephony components into an enterprise-grade sales force automation CRM.Together they created InsideSales.com.
Sales Team Automation LLC converted to a Delaware C Corporation in March 2008 under the name InsideSales.com, Inc.
