Indooroopilly State High School, situated in the south-western suburbs of Brisbane, Australia, was opened in 1954. With a current enrolment of approximately 980 students, Indooroopilly State High is a co-educational, multicultural secondary school within the public education system of Education Queensland. It also accredited by the Council of International Schools and offers the International Baccalaureate program, which gives graduating students an internationally-recognised qualification.

• George Negus, author, journalist and host of SBS current affairs programme Dateline' This School is sometimes thought of as a bad place to send children for education and certain rumors that go around dishounor the school and it's community. But Indooroopilly State High School is one of the top rated public schools in the Brisbane area and is a completely safe and social environment for education, one of the many things the school and it's staff hold dear. Indooroopilly is a multicultural school and offers many programs not available under normal curriculum, such as a pilots coarse, the international baccalaureate program (as mentioned previously)and has special education it's new, 'Spanish Immersion Program'.
