Inbar Lavi is an Israeli born actress. Lavi Studied at the “Kiriat Sharet" School of Arts in Holon, Israel. There she majored in Ballet and Modern dance. At the age of 16, Lavi attended “The Sofi Moskowitz Acting School” in Tel Aviv, where she first came to study Stanislavski technique and Method work.

After graduating high school, Lavi moved to New York, with hopes of being accepted to the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute In New York. Boosted by her strong dance and singing abilities, Lavi next performed in various off Broadway productions such as Ana Frank, Grease, and The Seagull. In the Summer of 2005, Lavi moved to Hollywood, where she received a full scholarship to the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. At the Institute, Lavi excelled while combining both of her passions - film and stage work.

In 2006 she was cast in the Lee Strasberg production of Shakespeare’s King Lear in which she portrayed the lead role of Cordelia. Portraying the title role was Actors Studio lifetime member Tom Badal, who directed the production as well. The show ran for several months, received rave reviews and garnered Lavi some industry attention.

Currently, Lavi is in pre-production for the role of "Alana" in Albert Pyun’s latest film, Tales of the Ancient Empire. The film also stars Lee Horsley, Christopher Lambert, Kevin Sorbo, Victoria Maurette, Yancy Butler, and Leah Cairns. Tales of the Ancient Empire is scheduled to commence filming in Buenos Aires, Argentina in late 2008. The film is a proposed sequel to the 1982 film The Sword and the Sorcerer.
