Impregilo S.p.A. (pronounced "Impregìlo", BIT: IPG) is an Italian-based construction-services and civil engineering business headquartered in Sesto San Giovanni, near Milan. The company was founded in 1959 and, through mergers, has grown to become the leading Italian engineering and general contracting group in the construction and environmental sectors. It has built a large number of major projects throughout the world including infrastructures, transportation projects, and environmental systems.
It is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.

Impregilo was founded in 1959, and the present company is the result of a merger in 1990 with Cogefar-Impresit S.p.A., Girola S.p.A. and Lodigiani S.p.A., each of which was a major successful player in the international construction sector.

The company is organised into three businesses: Construction, Engineering & Plant Construction, Concessions[1].

Projects in which Impregilo has been involved include buildings, public utilities, motorways, airports, water supply systems, waste disposals, hospitals and land development. Some major examples include:
- the Kariba Dam, Zambia, 1959[2]
- the Dez Dam, Iran, 1963[3]
- the Lesotho Highlands Water Project, 1998[4]
- the Nathpa Jhakri Hydroelectric Power Project, India, 2003[5]
The company is also working on the Kárahnjúkar Hydropower Project in Iceland which is expected to complete in 2009[6] and the Gotthard Base Tunnel which is expected to be completed in 2015[7].
