Ikechukwu Uche (born 5 January 1984 in Aba, Nigeria) is a Nigerian football (soccer) striker, plays for Getafe CF of La Liga. His name, Ikechukwu, means "Power of God".[1] He was the top scorer of the Segunda División 2005/06.
His career began in Nigeria with Amanze United and Iwuanyanwu Nationale. He joined Recreativo in 2003 from Racing Ferrol for a fee of $300,000, and scored 11 goals in his first Recreativo season.
Ikechukwu Uche is the younger brother of Kalu Uche. He is sometimes referred to as Uche Ikechukwu, which is a likely mix-up with Uche Okechukwu. To complicate matters further, there is a fourth Nigerian international named Ikechukwu Kalu.
