[edit] Torrotito of the Armada

Hi Ignacio, first congratulate you for the fantastic work you are doing with the coat of arms and flags in many of the articles in which I am related. Well Done.

I would like to point you, that in last edition of the torrotito, you made a version which, to me, is not fully correct. I explain myself. I quote the Real Decreto 1511/1977, Título I, Regla 6. Reglamento de Banderas y Estandartes, Guiones, Insignias y Distintivos:

It is a square flag (ratio 1:1) composed of 4 quarters:

  • First quarter, for Castile: Gules, a tower Or, masoned sable and ajouré azure;
  • Second quarter, for León: Argent, a lion rampant red (differing from the one on the national flag) crowned Or, langued and armed red;
  • Third quarter, for Aragon: Or, four pallets gules;
  • Fourth quarter, for Navarre: Gules, a cross, saltire and orle of chains linked together Or, a centre point vert;

This means both the tongue and nails have to be red instead than gold, as you painted them.

It is just a minor and "tiquismiquis" point ;) , but as you are the one painting them, I thought it won't take you long to make the change.

I add a link to illustrate my point: http://www.worldflags.es/cart.php?action=detalle&idp=327&idSEC=9&categoria=18&subcategoria=&inicio=0

Again, thank you for your great work!!! --Maurice27 17:31, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Maurice27.

You're absolutly right! Mea Culpa! (see page 4 of http://www.la-moncloa.es/NR/rdonlyres/9D52464C-0CBA-4518-9AB4-AD9279210CCE/71673/1511_1977.pdf). I will change the description in the article as it is wrong. --Maurice27 17:53, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

un abrazo, --Maurice27 18:24, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Flag of Valencia dispute

Hi Ignacio, ¿Como estás?

I would like to ask you to take a look a this (Talk:Flag of Valencia). A user is engaging in edit wars about the proportions 2:3 Vs 1:2 . I have replied to him with some sources and references, but he keeps reverting. Based on your knowledge in heraldry and vexillology, I ask you to give a second opinion. Thanks. --Maurice27 11:44, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Escudo de Montblanc

Hola Ignacio,

--Maurice27 16:51, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

Eres Grande Ignacio, Grande! jejejeje --Maurice27 19:47, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
