IDT Carmel

IDT Carmel is an Accounts Receivable Management and Collections company, headquartered in Newark, New Jersey, USA and a is a wholly owned subsidiary of IDT Corporation's IDT Capital division. Founded in mid 2005[1] following the parent company's acquisition (NYSE: IDT) of Minnesota based People First Recoveries Inc, IDT Carmel operates from five global attorney based sites and call centers spread across New York, Minnesota, USA and Jerusalem, Israel.
IDT Carmel's assets and operations are thought to be IDT Corporation's highest placed investments as the company branches out into other business lines to increase its diversity and lower its risk profile[2]. In an interview, IDT Corporation's Chairman Howard Jonas has even noted the possibility of it going public[3].
